Mary Homes operates in the Orleans area of Ottawa with 5 homes servicing children and youth age 8 to 18 years. Services have been designed to assist and support children and youth who are experiencing a wide range and variety of issues that hinder their well-being and growth in their homes and community.

Responsibilities:

• To care and supervise adolescents in a residential setting.
• To provide social skills training, life skills development, recreation and therapeutic crisis intervention.

Qualifications:

• Post secondary graduate or on-going student in related field ie Social work, Psychology, Child & Youth Care Worker, Developmental Service Worker, Police Foundations, Social Service Worker ….and other related fields.
• Recent medical and vulnerable sector criminal reference check
• Up to date immunizations
• CAS check without protection issues
• Knowledge of issues facing today's youth
• Additional recognized training with youth an asset. ie ASIST, Suicide Intervention, Safe Talk
• Car with 2 million liability and valid license is mandatory
